CCC Program  

Community Collaboration for Children (CCC), subcontracted through Kentucky River Area Development District, provides in-home services to help strengthen families and prevent child abuse and neglect in the eight counties of Letcher, Knott, Perry, Leslie, Breathitt, Lee, Owsley, and Wolfe.

CCC staff has received extensive training from the Cabinet for Health and Family Services and the local Department of Community Based Services.  Training topics included: In Home Services, Building Relationships with Families, North Carolina Family Assessment Scale—General (NCFAS-G), Ages and Stages Questionnaire (ASQ-3), CPR, First Aid, and safety.  Additional training was received on the Nurturing Parent Curriculum.
