    The L.K.L.P. Community Action Council, Inc. seeks to hire a Program Development Production Assistant. Responsibilities include working with grants, editing, producing computer generated forms, graphs and spreadsheets, researching and analyzing data and producing brochures and other agency materials. About the Agency


L.K.L.P. Community Action Council is a private, non-profit corporation with the primary service area of the southeastern Kentucky counties of Leslie, Knott, Letcher, and Perry in the Kentucky River region. The agency is a Community Action Agency established by the Kentucky General Assembly.

The LKLP Central Office is located at 398 Roy Campbell Drive, Hazard, Kentucky, next to Whayne Supply. All administrative functions are conducted at the Central Office including bookkeeping and program development. LKLP has offices located in each of the four counties in its' primary service area.

The agency is governed by a 24 member Board of Directors comprised of 3 representatives of the private, local elected official, and low-income sectors of each county. All LKLP Board members serve a four year term. The Annual Meeting of the LKLP Board of Directors is held in August of each year. The LKLP Board of Directors meets bi-monthly following the annual meeting. Mission Statement


The Leslie Knott Letcher Perry Community Action Council, Inc., is a private non-profit organization, serving the Kentucky counties of Leslie, Knott, Letcher and Perry. It is designed to be a community action service and planning agency, to develop to the fullest potential the human and natural resources in the four county area. Although the Council's primary focus is the poor, it seeks to actively and substantially involve all segments of the community, in an effort to alleviate the distress of poverty.
