The world health community continues to monitor closely the emergence of the coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19). At this time, no one knows how severe this outbreak will be. Given this uncertainty, we are taking proactive steps to address a number of business concerns.

  • Transportation – Currently limited to only one client per vehicle.
  • Head Start – All locations are currently closed. We are providing educational resources and weekend backpack meals to students. We are partnering with local school systems to provide weekday meals.
  • Early Head Start – All locations are currently closed. We are providing educational resources and weekend backpack meals to students. We are partnering with local school systems to provide weekday meals.
  • Community Services Block Grant (CSBG) – All county offices (Leslie, Knott, Letcher, Perry) are currently closed to public foot traffic, but staff continue to serve clients via telephone.
  • Compassionate Hearts Adult Day – Currently closed to clients. We are providing well-care assessments and resources via telephone.
  • Community Collaboration for Children (CCC) – Currently not providing in-home services, but staff continue to serve families via telephone.
  • Parent Self-Help – Currently not providing in-home services, but staff continue to serve families via telephone.
  • Weatherization/Housing – Still operating normally under State guidance.
  • WIOA – All offices (Leslie, Knott, Letcher, Perry) are currently closed to public foot traffic, but staff continue to serve clients via telephone.

LKLP Administrative Office is currently closed to public foot traffic, with limited staff on site.
