On-the-Job Training:
Many employers today find that on-the-job training programs help them reduce the cost of training new employees while still ensuring that the new employees learn exactly what they need to know to do their jobs. Eligible businesses with a need for well-trained new employees may be able to get as much as one-half of a trainee's salary paid during the training period.
On-the-job training helps employers get well-trained employees, while helping job seekers get the training they need to land the job they want. Everybody wins!
Customized Training:
Customized training offers employers another way to ensure that new hires and even existing employees will be well trained and productive. Each customized training program coordinates the appropriate resources and curriculum to meet the unique training requirements of an employer or group of employers. Under a customized training program, the employer is required to pay at least one-half of the cost of the training, and to hire the trainees who successfully complete the course.
The customized training program helps employers get well-trained employees, while helping job seekers meet industry-specific skill requirements. Everybody wins!
